A NARROW VICTORY; PRINCE ABIOYE KEHINDE EMERGES AS THE NEW PRESIDENT OF FOAASU NATIONAL.

Prince Abioye Kehinde Stephen popularly known as Heritage has emerged as the National President of Federation of Oyan, Asi, Asaba Students' Union (FOAASU) for 2019/2020 session, in an election conducted by the Independent Students' Electoral Committee (ISEC) of the union on the 30th day of December, 2019.
The electioneering started at around 2;pm with introduction follow by manifestoes and the accreditation of the candidates and the electorates. There were intimidations from different angles but the ISEC CHAIRMAN in person of Omogoye Joseph stood firm and as such; ISEC's orders prevailed throughout the election.
Comrade Abioye Kehinde Stephen known as"Heritage" who hailed from Oyan had 31 votes while his counterpart, Comrade Oladele Bukola known as OlaBulks from Asi had 29 votes, thus, "Heritage" won with just 2votes while the third presidential aspirant in person of Comrade Alabi Kehinde Joseph had 9votes.

Prince Abioye Kehinde Stephen was declared as the winner of the election at around 7;45pm after the Agents concurred to the credibility of the Election.

Other executives elected with "Heritage" are-;
Comr. Ojo Adedamola as the Deputy President
Comr. Omotayo Ojo as the Secretary-General
Comr. Abayomi Susan as the Social-Directress,
Comr. Olaniyi Akinwale
and lastly, Comr, Adekeye AbdulJeleel as the P.R.O 2.

The inauguration of the executive holds on the 2nd day of January, 2020.

Asi, in its entirety wake up with joy as the king of the town collected the Staff of Office today. His Royal Majesty, Oba Olasunkanmi Oyewale Isaac Akorede 1 was crowned some months ago in his palace at Asi town, Odo-Otin Local Government of Osun State.
